Cruise Program

Friday evening, September 8, there will be the traditional Docktails party on the dock in Victoria’s beautiful inner harbor. Saturday, September 9, will be a day to explore new sights in Victoria or to return to old favorite spots. Saturday evening is the formal banquet to be held at the Victoria Marriott Inner harbor with live music for dancing. Sunday morning we will have coffee and pastries on the dock. Thursday, September 7, there is an option for dinner at Swans Pub (see below for details).

Don’t have a a boat? We can help match you up to ride to Victoria with other SJIYC members, or you can take the BC ferry. There is a block of rooms reserved at the Marriott at a discounted rate of $289 CAD ($219 US).



You can register for the cruise on the club website. The cost is $100 per person, which includes the dinner and wine, the music, and the send-off coffee and pastries.





Thursday Evening Option?

Those?arriving?on Thursday may join other early?birds?for a group dinner at ?Swans Pub,?a?brew pub, restaurant,?hotel,?and liquor store?located?at the east end of the Johnson?Street?drawbridge.?The pub is?at the corner of Wharf & Pandora, about?seven?blocks?north of?the marina?(just head up?Wharf St.,?along the water). ?Plan to arrive?any time after 5:00pm?for drinks followed by dinner.?We have a?separate space?reserved and?are welcome to?order off the regular menu,?on separate checks.?Note that?there is a full bar,?including more than a dozen of their own beers & ales, plus a full pub menu (including vegan), all of which can be found here:?SwansMenus. ?Please?let George Johnson know if you?plan to attend: email him at?bygeorge100@gmail.com ?or call him at (360) 622-6690.?
